I have been inspired by a friend, Trevor Jackson. I am not sure that I have the strength yet to walk away from FaceBook completely, but I do hold similar ideals to be important in my life. Take a look at his blog Creekside Review and his article about leaving FaceBook.

I started a blog in the past but never took it on with strong enough intensions, but this time I hope to make this experience as much about you as it is about me. I will be sharing ideas and concepts to inspire others and to in return become inspired by those who become involved.

Much of what I wish to talk about in this will be photography related, but I hope to really step into not just the art and technical aspects, but how it relates to everything else in life. Photography is always an interpretation of what is around you and I struggle to stay unbiased so that I am seeing everything with a new pair of eyes and listening as much as I am seeing. Conception to me is to take all of the senses and ideas that relate to that subject and to incorporate them into the image you capture.

This for me will be a new beginning of sorts, where I can rediscover the reason I got into photography and writing in the beginning as well as take my skills and knowledge to a new level.

Working in FaceBook for me has been 90% distraction so I hope to keep this focused and have a much deeper, spirited, and thoughtful discussion. Please suggest topics and thoughts. I hope you all stay inspired.
